Samvatsarikam – First Year Ceremony – Brahmins

Samvatsarikam is the first annual Taddinam ritual performed exactly one year after a person's passing, on the same Tithi. It is a four-day sacred Vedic ritual that ensures the departed soul attains Pitruloka (ancestral realm) in peace. This ritual is also performed to express gratitude and offer danam to Brahmins, seeking the blessings of the ancestors.
