Your puja booking is inclusive of Pandit ji Dakshina. You are not expected to Pay anything beyond this. Our Pandits are trained to not ask for extra dakshina. If you intend to pay after the puja voluntarily, that is left between you and Pandit ji, and BookMyPooja would not be part of this interaction.
Each Pandit ji s banking details are registered with BookMyPooja. After the Puja is over, Dakshina is transferred online directly to their bank account
It is completely optional and we leave this decision between the Pandit ji and you, however it is not an obligation as you have already paid for the Dakshina for the Puja ritual
You can mention this under Special requests at the time of checkout. BookMyPooja team will connect with you in this regard via message / phone call. If any of the items need additional charge, you will be informed accordingly
Yes, you can choose to pay partial amount at the checkout. Remainder of the amount can be paid after the puja, under your bookings
After the booking, BookMyPooja assigns a relevant, qualified Pandit as per your preference. Pandit ji calendar is booked, and information is shared back with you within 24-48 hours of booking
BookMyPooja has a wide network of registered Pandits who can attend to multiple type of rituals. Unless it is a high demand season such as Festivals, the Pandit as per your preference is usually available.
In case of unavailability of preferred language pandit, BookMyPooja will assign a Pandit that closely matches with your culture
Such as - If a Marathi Pandit is not available in Bangalore, Hindi Pandit will be assigned for the same ritual
All our registered Pandits are trained not to ask for Dakshina amount from the customer. We understand that you may have to cancel the Pooja ceremony for some reasons.
In case of customer initiated cancellations,
You need to get in touch with our customer care number 8150878717 via Call / WhatsApp or email to us on our official support email ID
- If the pooja is cancelled for more than 96 hours, 90% amount will be refunded
- If the pooja is cancelled for 48 to 96 hours, 50% amount will be refunded
- If the pooja is cancelled for 0 to 48 hours, no amount will be refunded
We strive to provide the best experience possible, however in some cases if Pandit ji can not attend to the scheduled Pooja, BookMyPooja shall process full refund within 5 working days.
Yes, during the booking process you will be asked to select the Booking Date and Time. If you are unsure of the auspicious date and time, please choose the option "Let BookMyPooja team suggest auspicious time", and provide your Rashi, Nakshatra, and Preferred date range where you intend to perform. You can proceed with the booking this way.
