Origin and Significance
The Lalitha Sahasranama was first given by Lord Shiva to Nandi, then passed on to Lord Hayagriva, and later taught to Sage Agastya. It is divided into:
- Poorva Bhaga – Introduction and origin
- Stotra – 1000 names of Lalitha Devi
- Uttara Bhaga – Explanation of its benefits and conclusion
Lalitha Devi is none other than Tripura Sundari, the consort of Kameshwara (Lord Shiva), representing supreme consciousness and divine beauty.
Ritual Procedure
- Pooja begins with Ganapathi Pooja to remove all obstacles
- Kalasha Sthapanam and Sodasopachara Pooja for Lalitha Devi are done
- Parayanam of Lalitha Sahasranamam is recited with devotion and proper intonation
- Ashtothram and Archana are performed
- Naivedyam such as fruits, coconut, sweet pongal, or payasam is offered
- The pooja concludes with aarti and Lalitha Trishati chanting (optional)

- If the pooja is cancelled for more than 96 hours, 90% amount will be refunded
- If the pooja is cancelled for 48 to 96 hours, 50% amount will be refunded
- If the pooja is cancelled for 0 to 48 hours, no amount will be refunded

Yes, during the booking process you will be asked to select the Booking Date and Time. If you are unsure of the auspicious date and time, please choose the option "Let BookMyPooja team suggest auspicious time", and provide your Rashi, Nakshatra, and Preferred date range where you intend to perform.
