Pausha Putrada Ekadashi 2025, including its significance, rituals, and associated beliefs
Significance:
Pausha Putrada Ekadashi is particularly revered by couples seeking blessings for a child, especially a son. It is believed that observing this Ekadashi ensures the welfare, health, and happiness of one’s children and family. Historically, childless kings and queens observed this vrat for divine intervention and were blessed with heirs. The Bhavishya Purana narrates the story of King Suketuman and Queen Shaivya, who were blessed with a son after fasting and praying on this day
