Varusha Abdigam – First Year Ceremony

Varushabdigam is a sacred Vedic ritual performed at the end of the first year after a person’s passing. It marks the completion of the full shraddha cycle including Oonam, Masikam (monthly rites), and Sodha Kumbam. This is considered the final karma for the departed soul, after which their atma is believed to be fully merged with Pitrus and no longer bound by mortal obligations.
