  2. Sankalpam: The devotee takes a vow (Sankalpa) under the guidance of a Kannada Pandit, seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings.
  3. Shiva Pooja and Abhisheka: The Shiva Linga is bathed with Panchamrita (milk, honey, ghee, curd, and sugar) and decorated with Bilva leaves.
  4. Offering Naivedya: Prasadam like Tambittu, Payasa, and fruits are offered to Lord Shiva.
  5. Brahmana Bhojana: As per tradition, the next day, a Brahmin is served meals, ensuring Punya (spiritual merit).
  6. Observing the 21-day Vratha: Devotees continue the Kedareswara Pooja for 21 days till Amavasya, reciting Shiva Ashtakam and Kedareswara Stotras daily.
