Pitru Dosh Nivaran Puja is a Hindu ritual performed to appease the ancestors and mitigate the effects of Pitru Dosha, a hypothetical astrological concept that suggests that an individual's karma is influenced by their ancestors' actions. The puja is typically performed during Shradha ceremonies, which are held on the death anniversaries of deceased parents and other ancestors. The ritual involves offerings of water, sesame seeds, and other items to the ancestors, as well as the recitation of mantras and prayers to invoke their blessings and forgiveness. The purpose of the puja is to ensure the peace and well-being of the ancestors, as well as to ward off any negative energies that may be affecting the individual's life due to their ancestors' karma.
