Annoyed, the Goddess delayed her arrival, and the ritual could not be completed successfully. when she finally appeared, Brahma prayed to her for forgiveness, and she blessed him saying, “From now on, whoever worships me with devotion on this day will be blessed with wisdom and eloquence.”Hence, Saraswati Puja on Vasant Panchami became a sacred custom. According to some scriptures, on this day there are other important events that also took place, it is believed that on Vasant Panchami, Rama met Shabari, his devoted follower who had been waiting for him for years.
